My wonderful friend and neighbor took some pictures of little Ev. They turned out so cute! She came over and did them right in our house and once Everett was fed and happy he was the perfect model letting us move him however we wanted. This is just a small taste of them before we send out his birth announcement :)

These are pictures taken when I went over 40 weeks with our lil Everett.

This year Brett and I wanted to get a a real tree we went to this quaint place and picked us up a little Charlie  Brown tree... I call him Charlie.
 WELCOME
TO THE WORLD BABY EVERETT!
I look awful in these pictures but it was the first time I got to hold my little guy and it was such an amazing feeling. I was somewhere between crying and smiling. It's a magical feeling.

So here's Everett Kimball Hall's birth story:
I went 4 days over my due date and I was a little tired of being pregnant ha ha you know 40 weeks is a long time!  ;) So we set up a day to be induced on December 4th. The hospital called us the night before to tell us to be at the hospital the next morning at 6:30 am. I couldn't sleep that night cause I was so excited/nervous so I made banana cake for the nurses at the hospital. ha ha That night at 2:30 I woke up and my water had started to leak. I think he was ready to come anyway. We went in at 6:30 am and around 7:30 they started me on the lowest amount of Pitocin and were planning on upping it but Ev's heart rate didn't like it so they never did but they didn't need to because my body took to it and started progressing quickly. Went in to the hospital at a 4 and 90 percent effaced and by 10:00 I was a 6. I was cracking jokes because I was so nervous and the contractions weren't too bad...yet. By 11:00 they were a lot worse! And I was no longer joking through them. So Brett called our wonderful nurse Becky and she checked and I was a 9. She didn't expect that! So she called the doctor(wonderful Dr. Harrison) and she was there in minutes and she broke my water and I pushed for 15 minutes(15 very loooooong minutes)and then Everett was here! I did "constructive pushes," or so the nurse called them :) It was harder than I thought it would be that's for sure. I didn't do an epidural but believe me when it came to the pushing I was wishing I had! ha ha
Any who... Love my little guy more than I thought I could love anyone and Brett is the best daddy and when I wasn't able to move much or take care of Ev he took care of both of us. All I can say is I am one lucky girl!
 Love my boys!

Can't believe that this little guy came from me.
We make 'em big! Everett Kimball Hall was 20 in long and 9 pounds... I
knew he had to be big my stomach was so tight! Not to mention big!
Taking our little boy home! He almost didn't fit the outfit we brought.
Our bar has turned into our baby station. So funny thing our little guy likes to sleep but there's a hitch... at night he has to sleep between me and Brett or in my arms... but he does sleep. Last night he went to bed at 10 pm and slept in my arms in our comfy chair woke up at 3:30 ate and went back to sleep till 7:30 am. We can't help but spoil him! Hopefully he keeps it up though....

In his cradle... doesn't sleep in it... each time he's laid in it his eyes peek open just like this picture.
 Daddy and his Ev.
2 of a kind! He's his daddies boy alright!
This picture is my favorite! he was asleep on our bed and grinning in his sleep.
How can you not love this face!?
 Our bath this morning...
if I keep the wash clothe on his arms he doesn't mind being naked as much...

The waiting game.... 39 weeks and 2 days
5 more to go till my due date.
It's 4:30 am Sunday morning and I can't sleep I am so anxious waiting for our little guy to come.
I should've known he'd come in his own time by knowing who his parents are. I can't be told what to do
and as my bro in law, Bryan told us, it took Brett how long to commit to marry me?! ha ha So pretty
much we're screwed... we're having a kid who thinks he's in charge. Silly boy... Which obviously I'm not cause if I was he'd be in my arms right now instead of in my belly!  :) We got our baby monitor today thanks to my sister in laws and now all we need is a baby to monitor. I can't wait to see Everett for the first time! I've felt him for the past how many months?!(lost track... everyone's right the last couple weeks really do drag) And to actually hold him in my arms and see what he looks like or more importantly who he looks like. Brett's going to be an amazing dad and I am so excited for him to see him for the first time too! Well Everett will be worth the wait... right!?
FO SHO!
These are my fo sho hands... I think? For some reason when I'm in a pic my hands
migrate up to my face some how with some lame sign.... ha ha oh well we all have
our quirks... mine are just more apparent ;)
It was so fun to have Celinda and her family here for Thanksgiving! By the way did I mention
we went and found out she's also having a little boy! Yay a cousin Ev can play with! And they'll only by 5 months apart... unless Ev decides to chill in there longer.... then they'll be closer! (looking at the positive ;))
Here is a pic of one of my darling nieces, Sadie lynn, she is a hooligan and we adore her!
It was her 4th birthday today an this is the princess outfit she got and HAD to wear. Cute kid!

The Christmas Present Expo... at least I think thats what it was called that we went to? :)
It was so fun! My family has a little tradition of going every year.
I am 37 weeks here and wishing walking all over the Expo will help the kid along...
it didn't. ha ha
Kami (my wonderbar sister in law) took these 37 week side pics for me.
look how he sticks out!!! I think I am done with being preg right about here...

The Lil Monster Shower!
(I have a feeling with how much he moves in there he just
might be a lil monster! :))
Here are some pictures from the shower Pat through me.
Kami did the darling decor and Pat made the fun monster
cupcakes. It was great! Thanks you guys!
Brett's trying to make me smaller by covering up the bump...
ha ha not workin! (good looookin man!) just sayin...
The diaper motorcycle my sweet sister, Emily made.
To go along with lil monster Kams made me a darling monster blanket
for lil Ev. It even has his name in the bottom corner!
SO LUCKY to have such wonderfully talented people around me!
My mom made the quilt above and Pat made the darling
blanket below. I can't wait to cuddle him in them!

Brett's taking an off gaurd pic
This was after church this past Sunday I am just over 38 weeks.
Yes I feel huge and I am having a hard time finding clothes to
where for church. That is a sheer sign he needs to come! :)

Last shot... obviously taking it myself. Trying to show off how he has grown!
Still 38 weeks :) Maybe if I'm lucky I won't be taking a 39 weeker!

 HAPPY HALLOWEEN! I love halloween!!!Oct. 27th 2012
So I was kinda bummed this year because I usually do a halloween party but time ran out and I was tired ha ha 35 wks preg takes a toll I suppose. But my fun Aunt Melissa and Uncle Paul threw one that we went to! So much stinkin fun!
Can you guess what Brett is?.... He's PUMPKIN PIE... Get it?! ha ha
And I am a pregnant cheer leader... I tried on a lot of costumes and things that would normally be HUGE on me I couldn't even get on. Ha ha I know I'm preg but it some how didn't comfort me when in the dressing room. ha ha So I chose something I fit! :) (and owned already)
My darling mom is a cute flapper! I love that lady!
